Servicing by US will NOT affect your Harley-Davidson WarrantyWhy?

We have on file a letter from the Customer Service Manager of Harley-Davidson® UK & Ireland that states; “This letter is to confirm that your warranty will be valid for its full period even if taken to a Non-Harley-Davidson appointed Main-Dealer for a service as long as it follows current legislation on “Block Exemption”.

Many “Official Dealers” tell their customers only they can service and work on their bikes during the warranty period -  This has NOT been true since 1st October 2005

It’s about time this tactic used to influence customers, you will find all the legal bits are contained in; “EC Competition Law (Articles 84 and 85 Enforcement Regulations 2001; EC Regulation 1400/2002; Regulation 17 of the 1998 Competition Act), fully implemented in the UK on 1st October 2005”
